Alien Invasion 2000 Memphis

This is me (Mike) in a good mood. It was the last game of the day and my team, The Humans, were up on points. The Aliens were starting way on the other side of those buildings. If you got hit with one of the special paintballs they had you would have to go over to the Alien team. Well there wasn't anyway they were going to get across all that open ground and come uphill to reach us.

This picture was taken a little later about one hundred yards to the right of where I was standing in the above one. As soon as the game started the Aliens rushed us. It wasn't long before most of the Humans had been hit with some of the "special" paintballs and had to go to the Alien side. In this picture the game had been stopped so the resurrection point could be moved back farther for the Human side. I had been hit with one of those special balls but I just watched instead of shooting at what was left of our guys. By this time the the Humans had about 8-10 guys left and the Aliens had close to 100. There was quite a bit of paint flying at them! It wasn't long after this picture before it was over. When they stopped the game there was one Human left, a little kid, he was hiding under a log.

This is a picture of the old Vietnam fire base field or whatever it was called. That field was one of my favorites.

Some scenario game in Memphis. How long is that barrel?

I made one of my longest shots at a small target that connected here. I was a few feet in front of where the guy (I think it's Tommy) was sitting there in the foreground. Another guy was sticking his knee out from one of the closer trees there on the hill. I know it was mostly luck, but I aimed at him with the trusty old flatline and hit him. It bounced, but he left in a hurry.

Just a few from Mike's pre-possum years.
